Last Sunday the children of WRPC, supported by the Arts ministry and the choir dramatized a powerful Word for the church. They led us into a parable of separation and possibility. At one point in the drama, Russ, Laura and James Bullock stretched a long wall down the center aisle, separating one side of the sanctuary from the other. Worshippers were jarred when they realized that they could not see people on the other side of the wall. Then, the children launched their kites, waving them above the walls, staking our claim as a church in our call to seek peace. This week – the week after World Communion Sunday – WRPC heeds that call.
